17 Benefit and Uses of Clove

Cloves are used for cooking, they have pleasant smell and flavor. Cloves are rich in nutrients that are important for our body. Cloves act as an antiseptic, anti-fungal, antibacterial, antioxidant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory. Clove is recommended to treat coughs, flatulence, inflammation, toothaches, bronchitis.

1. Clove help lose weight since it improves digestion: Cloves have both antiseptic and anesthetic properties because of Eugenol. Cloves contain minerals such as iron, manganese, potassium, selenium, and magnesium.

Making Clove Oil:

In a Bowl take Cloves and pour oil just to cover the cloves (If you want strong aroma, take more cloves) Place this bowl inside the boiling water and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Boil water on a low flame.

Take a small bottle or container for storing Clove Oil (with or without Cloves) you can take out the bowl and let it cool completely Pour the oil with cloves into the bottle, Cover with a lid and let it sit for 2 – 4 days Home made Clove oil is cheaper. 

Benefit Of Clove Water:

Take a bowl or bottle, put a handful of cloves in some water and let it soak over night. In the morning, it’s recommended to take 3 or 4 tablespoons of clove water before your breakfast (on an empty stomach), but make sure it should not be more than five spoonfuls. The rest of the water can be stored in the fridge for 3 or 4 days. 

For better results, it’s suggested to drink clove water every day, during a month. According to studies, clove is known for eliminating parasites from the body, drinking clove water every day will strengthen your immune system.
